Resumption of Training :
Ferndown are returning to training as planned on Monday 23rd
August with merged training for Youth swimmers commencing on
the 6th September. Sessions for age and youths will be
announced imminently in line with the presentation given.
Between 23rd August and 5th September training will build
gradually, enabling swimmers to focus on skills. Times are
as follows.....
Youth - please note the time
Monday AM 5.50 -7.20am - Canford
Wednesday AM 5.50 -7.20am - Canford
Friday AM 5.50 -7.20am - Canford
Saturday AM 6 -8am - Canford
Junior - normal junior sessions @ Ferndown
Monday PM 5.30-6 / 6-7.30
Wednesday PM 5-6.30/6.30-7.30
Thursday PM 5-5.30 / 5.30-6.30
Friday PM 4.30-6
Saturday AM 6.30 -8am - Canford
Sunday PM 5-6pm and 6-7.30pm - Canford
Any swimmers 10+ can attend the morning sessions at Canford
for these two weeks.
We closed the season on a great note, our youngsters were
crowned diddy league champions, we had a recorded highest
number of Western Counties qualifiers whilst our National
swimmers gained medals, made semi finals and finals, with
best times a plenty. Well done to all our swimmers and lets
aim for even higher this season.

12th July; anyone interested should
email Michelle to have their name added to the list.
Preference will be given to anyone already on a volunteers course.
Michelle will notify all applicants of their success or otherwise on

the Survey and a report on their conclusions is available to be read. It
can be found in the

Coaches's Commitment and code of Ethics: We have added two documents to the "Join Us" page. The Coaches' Commitment outlines what the club requires of all its coaches and what every swimmer can expect. The ASA Code of Ethics lays out high level principles to be followed by all officals, staff and volunteers. |

The following swimmers have been selected in an extension of the
original list for the 2009 Dorset Talent ID program:- Eleanor Beckwith, Danielle Burry, Fiona Hardy , Harriet Higgins, Jeffrey Holtom, Lucy Kirkham, Todd Price, Luke Raggett, Zoe Taylor, Alan Wong, Noah Vides . Medication Declaration:
Any swimmer who may represent GB or their Home Country or competes in any high level Meet (E.g. Nationals, Brit Champs, etc.) and is on medication MUST complete and submit a Medication Declaration Form.
