A Qualified ASA Teacher; Mark was a Welsh International and swam for Wales at the Commonwealths and Olympics.  Although he works full time in the banking industry, Mark still finds time to make an invaluable contribution to the coaching team.  He works closely with Emma and is appreciated by all the juniors for his encouraging approach. Mark was the Welsh Youth Squad coach from 1988 to 1992

Rob is new to the club and is an ASA qualified teacher.  He is also the Army Swimming Team Manager and is heavily involved in getting injured servicemen and women into swimming. in 2009 he took a team of amputee swimmers across the English Channel.  Although it is a few years since he competed for the Army, he is passionate about his swimming and still participates in many extreme Openwater events, the longer and colder, the better.  He is really happy to be part of the Ferndown Otters Coaching Team and wants to help  Emma and Mark get the very best out of the excellent crop of current swimmers
